Is Broken

Bro. Brill isn't the enemy to ex'rs, even though he's resigned as a minister (with FAMILY BOND in tact, it's a miracle), but should/does want to maintain a relationship with his in-laws (Olson). 

    This requires an obscene amount of delicacy on the Brill's part. Like petting a squirrel, a cult leader's always skittish. Jones, Denis, Applewhite & Davis are run-o'-the-mill examples. If Rev. Kekel involves himself with them as he did with us in Panama then fuhgeddaboudit, THE FAMILY BOND IS BROKEN (as good as). It's policy.

    We're all one witness, whether you've already quit or pending. No cult member is an enemy of ex'rs. Cult life made us silly & wanting. Mike's administrative ministrations keeps this plate spinning. Plus now, he showcases symptoms on NTCC-TV weekly. Part suds & part properties w/a side of TV-Church. A natural. 

    2027 won't arrive soon enough for some folks. Quit & the fog lifts noticeably & quickly. Just to sit on a kitchen chair on a Saturday with nothing you must do, is sublime as it never could've been pre-cult. Even to just sit in the garage or the mall like that. Doesn't have to be fancy. I like carrying a chair into the woods to sit amongst trees.

UPDATE: Regina & child have returned to NTCC. Danny going topless in a pool while teaching their daughter to swim was the marriage ender for Mrs. Brill? Adultery, abandonment, death & now topless bathing are the approved divorce reasons? Or you can forgive all slights (except the listed 3, or forgive those too) & stick together. Be a team. Two + kids against the world.

    Danny goes topless & Regina goes pharisaical? Was Regina at the pool? What was she wearing? Even a one-piece is immodest. Why did she allow her family to public-mix-bathe? Did she see it? Or hear about it from at least 2 witnesses, in triplicate. Was this a trap? I won't go to a pool & not cuz of topless men. Has she seen the Kekel's most recent Happy-New-Jear video? Well, I didn't go in hot tubs before either.

We also had this same desire; to maintain our FAMILY BOND with Becky & John. We were on good terms with them until Senior Pastor Kekel's one-off visit to Panama (the only time any overseer has ever visited Panama…yes, ever, to date) a mere month after we left Korea in 2007. 

    Becky knew we had left & why & was immediately supportive cuz she also knew where the bodies were buried in Kekel & Company's* closet. *Company, because a specific-sin is in-common among them. A things they all like to do in the same closet. 

    Plus, she'd seen John (et al) suffer the same abuses over the decades. She's even a witness to the unchaperoned classroom shenanigans, then coupling of Tanya (14/16) with Mike (24/26) in 1981 & 1983. 

    The old-school era, when little-girls were women, like in near+middle+far east-asia. Especially India & the Middle East. I imagine the adult sisters glanced askance at the indecent liberties & covered their scowl with a kerchief, hymnal or Bible (back when they were still allowed). Maybe an OG can chime in on this in the comments. Most of the brothers didn't like it either & didn't take extra-Biblical liberties. Just Mike & Phil, while others took the less-easy road of molesting-without-marrying. Now absent is a fond-nostalgia among the victims, witnesses & their confidants. Which's now everyone with an internet connection.

    Some folks won't make a stand no matter how lip-servicey they are on the phone & emails. Once supportive of us quitting, Kekel broke fixed our relationship with Becky, so she now hates ex'rs? Just like Mike. Her whirlwind coarse correction. So easily? You really can't rape the willing. 

    From reading emails Mike showed them? But, she'd already read most/all of them. We'd forwarded them to her, in real time, months before we left Korea in August '07 & after until Mike's visit, cuz she wanted to know what's going on. A lot of the same stuff was done to Rick & John, so we figured it would be of interest to the Rodrigues' & many others. It was. She wanted proof. Leverage may someday be useful to protect oneself. But only if oneself has it. 

    What started all this was Brother Espinoza died, so some started thinking about the future when they saw how destitute NTCC's ministry left his wife. I'm sure the realization they would have to protect themselves, that there was no shelter in the org, was a crusher. Our safe harbor was built with straw upon sand, while we paid for marble-on-stone-priced vanity real estate.

    This's why I also started asking Pastor Davis (never Mike, why would I, he wasn't in my chain of command, ever) about 1 Timothy 5:8 a little more insistently. Early in the process Davis passed me off to JHO, so he could run all by pastor & get back to me. 

    This was the first time in my 25 years (by this time) of salvation I had been ghosted by my (or any) pastor. Maybe Davis' gift is also the spirit-of-administrative. Ghosting is an administrative function. Putting a go-between (JHO) in place is an administrative function. I lost direct access to my pastor so they could delay & deny.

    Many can attest, we weren't the only ones asking questions. 'twas FactNet started the question-ball a-rollin' & why Gra'am started churnin' out a chum  of written explanations, extra conferences, revivals, visits, blogging & stopped fellowship meetings without Graham leadership present as a final nail. Yet, the truth will out, thanks to Berners-Lee. Plus, peoples memory of things doesn't disappear with whitewash. Especially when jogged reading blogs.

    Sorry, what? You're told something different? This's called gaslighting & we already have an article on it, along with every other blog. So, not some new thing. Neither is synergy. Ignorance isn't excused. Continuing, some of us had been around long enough to be able to figure things out while still in good standing. Many arriving at the same conclusion (as seen on FACTNet).

    I'd asked about it periodically over the years since becoming a pastor, but this time I was forcing a definitive 1 Timothy 5:8 response, not allowing them to shine-me-on, as they routinely did with all of us. 

    The Rodrigues, et al were interested in the outcome cuz people had the same concerns. Cuz of the Espinoza situation a bleak future became present/right-now to folks. 

Maybe note, while I had no pastor to protect & advise me, Senior Pastor Kekel was sowing strife* among Becky, John and us in 2007 & we were all still in the field pastoring. Not Mike, he's lobbing stones from his assigned pew-sitting in Graham, or flying to another workshop. We were even both credentialed for 2008, the year after, since they renewed us. 

    Our credentials also said we're assigned to Idaho. Everything was administratively in order. There's no pleasing some folks. *A synonym of discord, like rule is one synonym of policy. But quit means quit & postpartum & postmortem are interchangeable. According to his latest mike-isms. 

    I haven't watched his TV show, so I don't know if he also misspeaks online. I'm more a print guy anyway, so my examples are from his in-print language-abuse only. Wink wink, nudge, cough. Harrumph.

The official timeline is we left Korea for Graham 8/2007. Mike visited Panama 9/2007. Deb resigned as a minister by registered-letter dated 12/2008. Very administrative. They stopped renewing my license in 2009. Very not administrative, so maybe vindictive? Whatever the motive, the decision was made based on 1-side from a 2-face tribe guy. I'm insouciant with whatever.

    Jeff helped me set this blog up during 1/2010, while Deb posted articles dated 1/23/2010, 2/14/2010, 2/26/2010 & 3/5/2010, and was done. Or maybe had one more to go.

    Senior Pastor Kekel posted his praise of Me on 4/20/2010. I acknowledged it as another desperate & inconsequential ploy on 4/25/2010. The fact Mike judges anyone is silly, he's just not harmless. Whyso? Thanks to Mike mostly, it's figuratively impossible avoiding gross considerations when discussing our cult since HE MARRIED THE BOSS'S 16-year-old DAUGHTER. Mike's not silly to children, he's a predator (based on past behavior). So hear ye, hear ye, hear ye, let's quantify this:

    As we've all observed, hebephiles (14 & younger) & ephebophiles (16 & up to 19-years-old, so even 19 is still an adolescent, a child) are the most deluded & easily offended of all the sex-crime-genre's. Mike is guilty of both 'philes'. While Pedophile is the general category of Mike's psychiatric disorder. These sex disorders are only considered psychiatric if the urges last longer than 6-months & Mike married his. So longer than 6-months.

    They think it's different, better, when they're involved with a 14 to 16-year-old child & not a consenting 10-year-old or animal (beastility - rwd). 

Accusations of sex-crime is perceived as an unfair-judgement (especially in a cult) since its a 14/16-year-old child & not younger. The normies don't understand the special bond. Their context is, it's alright because:

    • "She has breasts" (this's about it, but let's add more just cuz)...

    • "We're in love" (okay boomer)...

    • "I also help her with homework" (since he's a day-school teacher & a college professor*)...

    • "She's mature for 14 (& he's 24)"... 

    • "It's Dad approved (he's 52 in 1981)" (Mom does too†), 

    • et cetera.

Bonus creepiness if the pervert is in a *position of trust &/or has †parental approval.

Continuing, like his Panama visit, the timing seemed fishy. Instead of pioneering works, Kekel's administrative-calling sows strife in other's work? Odd this, but is often the case with do-nothings who've too much time on their hands. Throwing stones & taking names. Once a bully...

    These types MARRY THE BOSS'S DAUGHER, but lack the motivation to gainfully use this to God's advantage. Why try when you've married into success & could only blow smoke otherwise. Now, you also get a trophy. 

    The I MARRIED THE BOSS'S DAUGHTER trophy. Cuz he romanced a child? This first requires grooming before the victim will accept the romance (a euphemism of cult-speak). How long was Rev. Kekel's process? Did it really only start in 1981? No effort required once you get past the revulsion (none in his case). Plus, he can still playact being self-made. Who'll call him on it? A poseur poses. Maybe use puppets from children's church for a one-man-show, or other workshops.

    So, we post whatever we want, as long as true & with no regard for our original intent or Mike's routine online seethe against all, on God's behalf & in his administrative service.

I would probably still be with NTCC, but they stopped renewing my license in 2009. NTCC still hasn’t given me a reason why they didn't renew my license for 2009. I sent in the required fees on time, my tithe was current & I planned to continue renewing my license. Again, our licenses showed we were assigned to Idaho. 

    We were administratively above reproach & it's not even our gift. I sent them frequent snail-mail (and less frequent email) requests, asking what they wanted me to do? 

    Could I please have permission to pioneer a church in the town we were living in? Be someone’s helper (hadn't done this before)? Pastor yet another failing established church, which became growing-churches by the time we were reassigned each time? 

    Excepting Hephzibah, since we were only there about 7 months before being moved. But, blitzkrieg had been set up by us with all the forms, maps, single fold flyers (we all called them pamphlets, since Davis didn't like calling flyers flyers & why they're made with a single fold), door hangars (also a flyer), business cards, et cetera in 1997. This was before blitzkrieg had become official policy. We were covering Hephzibah block by block to start. Every house at least 3 visits. About a 2,500 population in 19 square miles, 1,400 households. 

    In 2001, in Seoul, I made an EnableDB & sent it to the office for them to disseminate (& tweak as needed) after we went to the Blitzkrieg-Implementation Ministers-Conference in Graham during 9.11.2001 week. 

    They said we could use Enable to set up a data base, so I did. I still have my original & the one they sent out. The db file they distributed to us all after was pretty close to what I submitted, they didn't have to make many (any) changes. 

    We were in the home country of Yoido Full Gospel Church which Davis referenced in this conference. After we got settled I paid them a visit to get pointers. They were very forthcoming, already had a program set up to help ministers build churches. 

    Then, we had 9 students (3 Koreans, 2 Nigerians, 1 retired military & 3 military) & a classroom to start a Bible college like Davis did in the PI. A Bible college was a key to building a mega-church (according to Young Hoon Lee). Yet, the Philippines has the same 0 or 2 churches & 1 out station for most of its existence. After I told RWD everything we had been applying from conference he shut us down? 

    No new college (already set up, we already had an orientation; his yes would have started classes the next day, everyone had already gotten a typewriter), no further visits to Yoido, no church planting, no NTCC mega-church in Asia. 

    Just area canvas & fill out the dayworker & other forms only. Keep sending your weekly report & money to support Graham. The only NTCC church location not self-supporting. Stop pioneering churches at the bases you visit for your college job. We paid to go to the conference & weren't allowed to apply what was taught?

    By the time Davis shut us down we had pioneered 2 churches & they had sent pastors (Gandy, Scrivens). We had a 3rd one started in TDC again & needed permission to sign a building lease. When I called this time, Davis said he had no one to send & stop pioneering works (paraphrasing). 

    Seoul was the last NTCC church I ever pastored, Humphreys the last we pioneered & we came close to opening a seminary.

    

Olson even dangled a teaching position at the Seminary. Something I had shared in years past as wanting to eventually do if it ever worked out. We would have had to stop go-getting across the globe to be an adjunct professor. Though over-qualified, I wasn't interested now, I'd seen for myself behind the curtain. Plus, they don't offer tenure. 

    I wasn't interested in teaching at the Seminary anymore also since an unrepentant, protected & unprosecuted Mike creates a toxic environment as seen on NTCC-TV. As Marxism does in secular university's & why it was so easy emotionally to quit my job in Korea. 

    They all knew I was a Pastor, so was a target. They liked to corner you (sometimes literally) & wanted to debate religion? I begged off as often as I could, which was about 90% of the time. Mostly gotchya questions.

    The few other Christians on staff experienced the same persecutions. We supported each other, take breaks together. Education is already a hostile work environment for a Christian but Mike makes it worse than Marx since he's called brother. The enemy within. Like a sibling picking on/at you. So, why haven't you quit yet?

    I rightly considered this a ruse & not a legitimate offer. To lure us to Graham so they could isolate & massage facts & lies in their favor & to bypass my questions. Ignore me & I go away? So, I declined. Plus, my proofs are written, so can't be gaslit or dropped. 

    I would have to lie to myself to re-submit to them. Deborah is untouchable inside & outside our cult. Me? Not so much cuz I'm the new guy & considered a poor replacement for Rick in some clicks. So Mike nitpicks away. They can always control their half of a narrative, but not me anymore. Or our written proofs. Or the internet. Or their libido. Huzzah.

I submitted formal charges concerning Mike's publicly-documented ministerial-misbehavior, in triplicate, et cetera, to Headquarters in full accordance with Article 13 of the Bylaws. My charges regarded Rev. Kekel's repeat violations of Article 12 of the Bylaws while I was still in good standing. 

    Nothing came of this either. I also kept re-asking my same 2 foolish and unlearned questions, sending in my tithe & re-re-offering to appear before the Board in Graham for my charges-against-Mike &/or any whatnots & whatsoevers against me; until I reenlisted 9 months later at 48-years-old. 

    At this point I stopped requesting guidance from HQ & sending tithe to HQ Graham, but never dropped my charges. Charges still valid & still pending, with many fresh perpetrations to date.

Most all my emails remain unanswered, though shown to Becky & John? Mike had time to travel to Panama but not sit in his private office & answer correspondence? Many of my posts were returned unopened, even the ones my tithe were in. I always sent these letters registered mail, so I know they were receiving them, since they signed for them. I was being administrative (not even my gift), they weren't.

    Sometimes letters were sent back opened & not resealed? But, they're vindictive children as we've all seen over & again. Luckily my returned tithe checks didn't fall out. Very administratively irresponsible. Not what I'd expect from the administrative called-by-God by-God-you-betcha policy maverick. Ol' 3-job & a child.

After 9 months of this & receiving no answers, I was confident I had gone above and beyond what any reasonable person would expect, and went back into the Military in 2008. I'm still in, and will be eligible for retirement in 7 years. 

UPDATE: Retired 2021, after 24 years of honorable service at 61-years-old. I had 11 in when I reported for Bible College in 1994. Thanks to quitting, I've comfortably retired on savings from my last 3 deployments (17, 19 & 2021), my secular job & military retirement. My Social Security entitlement is now fun-money & I may have to crack open a 401(k) eventually. Not anytime soon, since I have no bills above property tax, utilities, car insurance, gasoline & food. 

The way we handled all this administrative drama Senior Pastor Kekel generated was done in the best way possible. In that, we kept available for anything NTCC would have wanted us to do, while spending every intervening day with Deb’s parents. 

    Then I went to a recruiter and joined the active duty military, and will now get the military retirement we'll need. 

    I had no hope of old age income with the Cult. Other than Social Security (started receiving in 2023), and working (reading, gardening & crafts now post-exit) till the day I die. 

    

Just by finally leaving the cult less than 4 years ago, we have God, a FAMILY BOND, friends, 3 new vehicles (1989, 2010, 2012), new furniture, savings, health insurance, retirement, and a huge life insurance policy (and everything is paid in full). 

    We're in the process of buying our first home (VA loan @ 2.75%) & we were able to buy Deb’s Mom a fully loaded 2012 RAV4. Also, Deb has a career she likes, which makes a real positive difference in people’s life, and will make her eligible (you have to work at least 10-qualifying-years to collect) for Social Security pretty soon, so she will be able to collect when she's of age. 

    Deb also gets to spend as much time as she wants with her Mom, Brother, Sisters (except Becky, thanks Mike), and her extended FAMILY BOND. We can go visit folks financially & have the freedom to do it. No permission needed. No need to scrimp, the money's always there now.

FYI: We've also started looking into adopting a child or 2. This'll undo the last thing the Cult took/damaged in both our lives. 

UPDATE: No-go adopting. Too expensive (north of $10,000). Why do folks have to buy children when they're assuming the cost of raising them from the state? Like something cults do. Like collecting mortgage payment from churches with no note. Effectively rendering your work a rental property of Graham HQ. 

    This may explain their routine neglect of spiritual things (see any 5-minutes of NTCC-TV for LIVE examples) & being viewed as a property management company w/MLM ornamutations. AKA collecting rent from churches & adopting tithe policy from Catholicism & seeing it eventually transmogrified to cash by a British Act of Parliament in 1836 (yes, this recent) to justify a cash tithe. So not just for farmers anymore. This's modern synergy (the States new religion movement), it only benefits the corporation.

    Convenient, non? Just following orders? Everyone does it? What's your seared-conscience mantra? You don't need many to choose from. Any excuse will do, but what textual proofs can you cite? We put ours online for all to dissect.

Anywho, Deb was sick of their nonsense. 32 years for her, 17 for me. Deb was leaving no matter what I did. NTCC even interfered with me getting licensed by AG during this time. They had a church for me to Pastor in the town we lived in. This's also the church we're attending. Their Pastor wanted to retire, but needed a replacement. 

We understand the importance of warning others, but the FAMILY BOND is more important to us post-exit. We'd trade all the useful information on our blog for our relationship with John and Becky to be what it was before Senior Pastor Kekel’s strife sowing visit to Panama (first & last one) & his subsequent online discussion of us.

On a plus side, had Senior Pastor Kekel not maliciously orchestrated these events, Deb and I would not have been allowed to spend time getting to know her father & mother. What a tragedy this would've been. He died in 2009, 18 months after we landed in Idaho. They'd been estranged for over 30 years since the 1970's, because of NTCC's no FAMILY BOND policy. No contact with non-NTCC family & friends policy.

To date, we don't contact people still in the Cult. Other than Becky, to see how they fared during the recent earthquake in the Philippines & I recently sent Senior Pastor Davis a notification email about Lillian Stevens working again. 

    It confuses them when given a chance at a not-cult, no-strings, no-agenda, relationship. Especially when they don't have permission. Their enemy-o-meter stays in the red for the duration of any encounter, so I don't bother. It's tedious translating or interpreting cult speech for more than a blog post. 

    I have no NTCC’rs as Facebook friends, because none have ever sent me a friend request (other than Pastor Freeman in Wyoming). We do blog though, because thanks to Senior Pastor Kekel, we have nothing more to lose. Plus, warning others is a Christian’s duty (it’s why Mike does it, right?). 

    REVENGE never characterizes ex'r motive. We've all observed everyone long enough to make this oft avowal definitive. It's never REVENGE from an ex'r. But these blogs generate REVENGE from the cult camp every time (See NTCC-TV again; jeez maybe just watch their youtube station & skip the blogs). Like Marxist's, perceived enemies generate purpose, the only purpose as it turns out. Revolution is the purpose. They Revolt against everything not them.

    I could blank all content from this blog & just post a link to the Graham YouTube channel with greater effect. Mike & Company would get around to proving all online ex'r points in short order. 

    When you KNOW some folks gunna seethe & scold, tune-in & let 'em. Make popcorn. Hershey kisses & popcorn. YOLO child-of-God. Butter & salt. Rest in your rightness in quitting & have a snack, then a nap. Now imagine a cult comes a knockin' at your door. This is how jarring a Saturday NTCC-visit can be. 

Senior Pastor Kekel did so much irreparable damage to our relationship with Becky and John that not even their Father’s 2009 funeral was able to bring us together, and the division remains to this day. Becky was estranged from their parents for even longer but didn't have the benefit of a reconciliation, so even more tragic.

    This may explain her bitter hostility (is this redundant) toward us. Senior Pastor Kekel had absolutely no involvement with the questions I had, or any Church we ever Pioneered or Pastored. Why would he? He's a Graham office worker & runs the Print Shop. He's handed me my mail a few times.

    But, he inserted himself into the relationship we had with our FAMILY BOND? He wasn’t even anyone's Pastor & Senior Pastor Davis was our Pastor. 

He pursued his own administrative agenda in Panama & with his Shunk's right article. The paper-tiger stumbling to God's rescue. The whirlwind's in a clown supercar, with only room for him. He's spiritually administrative. being about his admin spirit-business. Criticizing what others do as his service to God (& workshops). Vanity real estate, mcMansions (5 to date), supercars & other luxury. 

    His conduct is he's above administrative accountability for his actions. And the Cult’s actions (or inaction) proves they don't hold him, or themselves, personally accountable for anything, or to anyone. See Bylaws Articles 12 & 13. Why have Bylaws if you won't follow them? Cuz this is the way of a cult, Grasshopper.

HINT: It's a federal requirement for non-profit churches. Along with having a board of more than RW Davis. Along with a youth camp, sunday school & print shop requirement. So now you know why NTCC has these & why they're mickey mouse eye-wash. Not God's leading (as we're told), just government approval. Like Constantine's Catholic church. 

    Every administrative part of NTCC is in place because of a government requirement to maintain tax exempt status. And NTCC's all administrative, no shepherding wanted, just severely needed. 

UPDATE: Admin-a-Mike, with his singular administrative spirit-qualifications, is at the helm now. He's the right peg for this wrong hole, how will he do? He can't quench what's long dead. Can't make NTCC more dead. The only direction is up. How will he do it? Synergy? The old path is what's needed. But they locked the gate long ago, so synergy it is.

Senior Pastor Kekel's conduct in all this (and many other things) is not something I would expect from someone with an administrative calling, since all of this's administrative. Maybe cuz the Holy Ghost's been left out. It's policy.
