Matthew 18:15-17 (King James Version)

But everyone knows the KJV is the anti-NTCC Version.

Matthew 18:15-17 (King James Version - the mandatory harmony and reconciliation Bible)
...Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (King James Version)

Proverbs 6:16-19 (King James Version - the straight-talk Bible)...These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs 31:10-28 (King James Version)

Proverbs 31:10-28 (King James Version - the pro-working-woman Bible)...Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

I see someone being able to draw certain interesting conclusions from the poll tally. Conclusions which have little or nothing to do with the actual content of the questions or answers.

I think the polls are good and beneficial and they should allow folks such as you or I to make certain assessments that could help out in our quest. The hit counters have served similarly.

I split my vote on the first poll question, Are you still involved with the ntcc?

I do not attend.

I am very involved with making sure others know what ntcc is really like.

Anonymous,

I did enable poll takers to select multiple answers when I set this up, because sometimes only being able to select one answer isn't as accurate as selecting more than one.

Although, I hadn't anticipated your reason for doing so. Either way, the results will allow us all to draw very general conclusions as a very casual and fun intellectual exercise. As Jeff (and I am sure most others) immediately realized above.

The great thing about being loosed is we are individually allowed to do as we think is best, with no fear of repercussions from man. Or to have fun with stuff others may take too seriously (or are afraid of), with no fear of being eXposed (as some among us are).

The comments may or may not be valid statistically or reflect the true percentages of those affected by the poll subjects. But what is important here is that we have somewhere that our opinion/testimony may be expressed anonymously and without fear. This allows us to express to each other and feel we are not alone. Thank you for providing us with this opportunity.

Yes Raquel, the poll is far from scientific. It has been put on Deb's Blog as a means for people who wouldn't otherwise post (out fear of repercussions, lack of time to post, etc) to have a voice, and participate in a quick, easy, relevant, and anonymous way.

Thanks for your thoughtful input.

Off Topic.

I updated some text to my profile.

I included the names of those in the picture. Find out if you are there!

I've also included a brief glimpse into why Eric and I left ntcc.

The "Contact/Web Page" link should bring up an interactive Google Satellite Image of the ntcc national campground.

Enjoy!

Here's an idea for poll questions:

Do ntcc 'leaders' practice what they preach?

Do you believe the worker is more important than the work?

Does r.w. davis teach that?

Does r.w. davis live that?

Should ntcc have to obey the law?

Should ntcc, a non-profit organization, have to disclose financial statements required by law to be made public?

Does ntcc provide finacial accountability to its members?

Why not?

Why are all payments made in cash?

Who benefits?

Where does the money go?

Why doesn't ntcc obey the law?

Ange said...

More poll questions:

Is it hypocrisy to say one thing and do another?

Can you think of one time when ntcc leaders have said one thing, but done another?

Are there different rules for you, than for your leaders?

Why?

Another Poll Question Suggestion:

WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE IN ntcc MARRY-OFF THEIR UNDER-AGE (YOUNGER THAN 18 YEARS OLD) DAUGHTERS WHILE THEY ARE STILL SUCH YOUNG GIRLS???

IS IT CULTISH TO NEED PERMISSION FROM YOUR PASTOR TO

DATE SOMEONE?

CALL SOMEONE?

INVITE SOMEONE TO YOUR HOME?

. . .

IS IT CULTISH TO ALL

DRESS ALIKE?

WEAR THE SAME HAIRSTYLE OR WIG?

ONLY WEAR WHITE SHIRTS WITH SUITS?

IS GOD PLEASED WITH LEGALISM?

DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE ALL BELIEVERS WHO OBEY HIM, OR ONLY THE ONES WHO CALL THEMSELVES PASTORS (EVEN THOUGH THEIR SEMINARY ONLY ISSUES A NON-ACCREDITED "DEGREE")?????

Ange said...

IS CULTISH A WORD? or

IS CULTIC A WORD?

This and other life threatening questions to be answered in our up-coming edition of "li(f)e in the ntcc...is it a cult?"

stay tuned

For the Pettit Family...

Kinda off topic, but not completely...

I just read the Charleston Gazette article linked in the sidebar. (Thanks for the link!)

We were assistants to the Pettits (Greg and Alice) in Louisville, KY from June 1992 through May 1993 at a "civilian" "pioneer" "work" with a "military outreach" to Ft. Knox, KY that is about 60 miles south of Louisville, KY.

The Pettits were great folks to be around. Very fun, warm and caring.

Most of the folks who attended services at that time were active in the military. (If I remember correctly). And there were only a handful in each service.

Now I read in this article that after roughly three and a half years in West Virginia, the ntcc pioneer work has about ten members.

I checked the ntcc website and as of 2009 the Pettits were still listed as being in West Virginia.

I think that's great! Why? Because they have a young daughter. According to my calculations they got her out of Graham just when the kekel-type wolves would be amping up trying to get a free feel off a 14 year old. Hope they keep that precious little lady out of Graham and away from out-of-control ntcc 'preachers' like kekel and kinson who seem to prey upon 14-16 year old girls, chomping at the bit to get 'em married off and working for free in the ntcc for the rest of their bare-foot and pregnant-in-the-kitchen days. NO SCHOOLING FOR YOU! ONLY THE kekels' SON GETS AN EDUCATION!!! (And an expensive education at a private prep school at that...)

Fortunately for my friend Alice, Greg had a solid trade prior to coming to ntcc. But with the size of that church building and that number of members after roughly three and a half years, well, we know ntcc in Graham isn't helping with those rent and utility payments... So that means Greg is carrying the ball. But what will happen as he gets older and wants to retire? What if he got injured at work????

Valid questions, folks.

Don't think the ntcc would help.

From what I've read on the blogs the ntcc did not help Ralph St. Clair or Sister Espinosa when they had needs. Both of those families put in many many years of faithful service to the ntcc. I think they even had children who attended the bible school and went into the ministry...

Folks, if you know someone still "in" ntcc, please prod them with these questions.

They need to know they will receive no help from the ntcc if a need arises. In fact, they will probably be run-off and lied about. Just like ntcc did to Eric Barden and I... hmmnn. Points to ponder.

Perhaps r.w. davis will have their best friend tell them to "tie a rope on" and then "put it around your neck" like what george 'dad' keener said to Eric when he asked for a safety harness (required by law to be furnished by the employer, Gesang Enterprises the shell company for ntcc's building crew who works exclusively for rw davis).

You see folks, the experience of others can teach one, if one will seek the truth.

Your friend,

Angela

Maybe we could add an option for the how long were you in the ntcc question:

TOO LONG!!!

(and the option to chose more than one answer...)

If you know what I mean.

This poll is very interesting. There is a big difference in the number of votes for each question. Sometimes the fear must keep those who are in ntcc from voting or posting. I'm sure they read though. It's good. They are waking up and starting to see things for how they really are in the ntcc.

Angela said...

I've been looking at these poll results, only 20 people still involved with ntcc have responded...

Obviously ntcc has a moratorium on blog reading and the members are afraid to read, post, or vote.

More cult tactics to limit people's access to information and to restrict normal freedoms that every American should enjoy.

kekel just lies from the pulpit by casting out a false accusation that these blogs are full of lies when he is the one lying.

Then the 'faithful' (deluded or deceived) members of ntcc think, ooohhh, don't read the blogs...

Meanwhile kekel reads these blogs and snipes at people (anonymously of course) and runs damage control campaigns on his phony empty blog that never would have existed if Tracy and others had not started these blogs.

kekel even has lengthy comments that he is not doing damage control. What a joke. Just like clinton saying he did not have sex with that woman--notice how clinton tries to de-humanize her by not using Monica's name.

But kekel lies like a rug and tries to pass-offf his blog as a church website. Puh-leez! What a joke kekel has made of the ministry and himself!

The poll shows one person is thinking of attending ntcc. Guess Grant Kekel now has a "significant other" who is trying real hard to impress him.

What is going on with the poll results, I would believe them if a small minority were changing their minds but question one went from 147 total votes and is now down to 115. It just don't add up. Wonder if they are somehow being manipulated?
