First Anonymous makes it appear (on Jeff's Blog) they
went there by accident (“…when someone stumbles onto this page like I did…”).
Then Anonymous went there on purpose to
verify something (“…the reason I came on here is because I saw something on
facebook and came to check if it was real.”)
And now Anonymous won’t be back.
Anonymous says they have not heard the
leadership say anything bad about MDR (Reed) since their escape, but I heard Senior
Pastor Davis (and others) say plenty against MDR when he was still trapped; at
the Lodge, and during Conferences in Missouri and in the Philippines. Senior
Pastor Davis would air MDR’s dirty laundry, embarrass him, disrespect him,
belittle him, bully and assault him, etc…both to his face, and behind his back.
Even trying to involve his wife against him.
Only harmless manly fun right? Normally yes, but since none of us could ever respond in kind, it was just bullying, and therefore harmful and un-Christ-like.

If a person never saw any of this, then they
haven’t been around very long, or gotten very close to the leadership;
therefore their perceptions don’t count. FYI, by close, I mean physically close
to the leadership. Almost all of the stuff we share happened while we were still in
good standing with the Cult as Licensed and Ordained Ministers.

A point is, we don't Blog because of all that is said against us now (this doesn't matter, since we have left), but because of the bad environment we were exposed to while still in. And, since NTCC's environment still hasn't substantively changed people still need to be warned.
Senior Pastor Davis’ style of shepherding would negatively tint my view of many people in his Cult. I stayed away from MDR, and many others that Senior Pastor Davis berated, because I thought they were jacked-up, and/or they would be a bad influence on me based only on what my Pastor said and did. I see now that I missed out on getting to know a lot of great people. Sorry MDR, my loss.

Senior Pastor Kekel/Davis did plenty
against Deb and I during the last 1.5 years we were still in (Licensed/Ordained), only in our case
it is documented. And we are living daily with the repercussions over 5 years
later. Plenty was said against us while we were still in (the last 1.5 years again), and after we escaped.
Again, in our case it is documented.
Senior Pastor Davis was derelict in his
duty/responsibility to me as my Pastor (also documented). No one seems to care
about this. Senior Pastor Kekel sowed discord among the brethren (Becky, John
and us…also documented). No one seems to care about this.
There are people that have been gone for
decades, and that never post against NTCC, and that are still talked bad about
in some NTCC circles.
Anonymous also proves the point that you
will be talked about when you leave; regardless of how amicable your escape was.
They are talking bad about MDR on facebook. Ostensibly about what he is posting
now, but it wouldn’t be real NTCC gossip unless it is peppered with the
usual…“I knew there was something wrong when this or that happened, or when he
said this or that, et cetera.” and then end with "...just pray for them." So as to soothe the Cult conscience.
And since when did it become Scripture
that…“If you talk bad about us (the Cult), then we will talk bad about you. You
leave us alone (the Cult), and we will leave you alone.” This smacks of revenge
to me.
If we are routinely damaged for many years by
something done in the name of Jesus, and it’s a systemic problem in a religion
Organization, then we have the right (some may say duty) to warn others. Revenge
is not my motive, duty to my fellow man is.
The world would be better off without
NTCC. This is my opinion based on my 30+ years of Christian experience in many
Churches (including NTCC). And my experience is backed up by a multitude of
witnesses.
What did any of us do to harm our Cult
while we were still involved? I think Senior Pastor Kekel’s view (...”I consider
anyone who has left NTCC an enemy.") sums up their motive and spirit; my motive is to
be a help to those that need help.
So there’s nothing alarming about a religion’s leader routinely saying "I can't remember the last time I sinned." and "All I do is by the Holy Ghost." and "I have never missed God."? A man that thinks this about himself is not dangerous to his flock and the Body of Christ in general?

What about a man (who has professed he
has been a Christian for over 50 years) that will routinely say:
• “Et cetera.”
Nothing
dangerous in this? Seriously?
What about a man (who has professed he

dirty jokes? Yeah,
the sky is green, the Government is here to help, and you’re not in a Cult.
Gregory
Great post Gregory, good stuff. I was never in the inner circle of Ministers because I was the church member. But I spent a lot of time around Davis. Just being in a servicemens home for 12 + years , I've seen enough to know that Anonymous is willingly ignorant. The culture in the NTCC is that of a two-headed freak show. There is very little Christ or God in the equation. When One Ieaves the NTCC, they are no longer considered to be a Chrisrian. There is no such thing as leaving in good standing.
ReplyDeleteDnA,
ReplyDeleteThanks. Senior Pastor Davis' perversion version of Christianity taints all who come in contact with it.
You are right, you can't leave in good standing. All who leave are enemies (MCK). But, very few in positions of Pastor and above are in good standing with God while in. At a minimum, they are worse than infidels.
So, I'll take leaving and God over staying and Senior Pastor Davis every time.
There is no advantage to staying in our Cult.
Gregory
You are so right, Gregory. It was hard for me as a member to live up to the standards of all the Davis wannabees and to be a Christian at the same time. I can't even imagine what it was like for you and Deb. The expectation for unattainable perfection was so high for ministers. Very few in the ntcc ever seemed to live up to expectations. I would say that it is impossible to follow all of the teachings of Davis and Kekel and maintain a Christian walk because Christianity and ntcc doctrine conflict. They are contrary and ntcc doctrine changes too much. Also ntcc doctrine is hateful and harmful to impose on young Christian minds. How can you teach people to love their neighbors as themselves or to love one another when it's always you against the world? Everyone is a sinner except those in the ntcc. Not only are they sinners but they are devils according to the ntcc.
ReplyDeleteThe ntcc has doctrine to refute every church on the planet. All you have to do is tell your pastor that you attended another church service with a different group and that group will be dissected, picked apart and accused of being devils. It is better to fall short of meeting the ntcc expectations and at least have God in your heart, than to struggle all your life to try to win the good graces of Davis, Olson and Kekel and have to shun the very people that God wants you to love. I can't believe that we contributed to the furtherance of this crooked empire by financing their greed. We looked away from their impropriety and shut our ears to their lying tongues. We thanked God for surviving while watching others take a fall.
The ntcc brings out the worst in people. I've never been a part of such a hateful group of people in all my life. During my 13 years in the ntcc, I very seldom was allowed to use my brain or think for myself, but now it's a relief to have free will and a conscience to make good choices and sound decisions without fear or retribution.
It was such a grind and religious routine to live within the man-made parameters of the ntcc. We had the promises of God dangled before us but we lived in such a way that we were offensive to those around us in a way that kept us from obtaining those promises. We were blinded at the time but now it's so plain to see how deceived and misguided we were by false teachings and unreasonable expectations. We were in a pickle and a serious conundrum. Thank God it's over like a bad dream.

I am an Assemblies of God minister and was never involved in the NTCC but I have come in contact with a couple that attended the NTCC's seminary and they have quickly become very influential in our little A/G church! She has become the church Secretary and he is our youth leader! My wife and I have noticed some very very very strange behavior from both of them which we feel is very controlling and arrogant to say the least! Do you have any advice for me as to what we should do because I was thinking about informing pastor about their involvement in the NTCC! We also feel like she has something against me as I am also part of the leadership in our church! Please reply
ReplyDeleteThose of you who don't know and have been sheltered and LIED to, I have news for you! "REV & SISTER ASHMORE HAVE RESIGNED AND ARE NOW OUT OF NEW TESTAMENT CHRISTIAN CHURCHES OF AMERICA. Rev Ashmore has a blog commentary on Facebook. As soon as Greg gets back, I will post Rev. Ashmore's link with his permission. I and others are hoping to persuade him to have a blog so that many others can read and share their story without Facebook showing that they visited his Facebook Page.Yes, they have spies who report to "Mike Kekel" who visited his page. If you have to sneak around and view this blog, doesn't this show you "SOMETHING"S WRONG" with the Church!!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to Re-post this article. So those of you who passed it off as rubbish, can now compare it to what others have posted on other blogs of N.T.C.C's abuses. Folks I have never met some of these people, yet they have had the same experience. Why is it everything that has been done to countless people, is merely re-guarded as "they just wanted sin or they had issues & a bad attitude"! Read for yourself and think what is of God and what is not. We pray that your eyes will be opened and the yoke of bondage will be lifted.
