Old FACTNet is gone...

Hallelujah!

Hello all,

Good news...On 29 January 2011, the witness that was "old FACTNet" was deleted from the world wide web. I already archived all the NTCC stuff, so maybe someday it will make a reappearance (sounds like good content for a full-blown website). The "new FACTNet" is still with us, but is consistently inactive.

But, here is the link to a fully functional (all links work) internet archive of "old FACTNet."

Also, I want to thank Sister George Jordan for telling us (and very many others) about FACTNet in 2004 (she’s very diligent about keeping people informed). She is probably directly responsible for many people leaving our Cult, since many claim they left because of the influence of what they read online.

NTCC is winning,

Gregory

I love satire just as much as the next dog; but that comment made my fur stand on end!

Even a dog knows: Just because you bury your bones in the back yard, that doesn't mean their gone forever!

People lying and trying to erase NTCC's shameful past doesn't change the FACT that NTCC IS A CULT THAT DESTROYS!!!

The NTCC might think they have won some sort of battle in this war. But NTCC WILL NEVER WIN THIS WAR BECAUSE THEY ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE! NTCC DOES NOT SERVE JESUS. NTCC SERVES itself and satan, the defeated foes of CHRIST THE KING!

I'll keep barking that message for as long as my tail is wagging!

  2. Thanks for putting the quotes beneath the pictures.

I have a question for you. What do you remember being taught and preached to concerning people suffering from mental illness and getting a doctor's help or taking certain medicines concerning this?

  3. That is a shame that it's gone. It just motivates me all the more to never pull down my blog (not that I intended to anyway).

  4. nichole b,

As you should know, NTCC preaches/relies on divine healing leavened with the Doctor’s help...or as they like to sometimes put it, "If you have a headache, pray for healing, and then take an aspirin."

There are even instances where God has healed someone, and NTCC (Pastor Davis) had the person go to the doctor anyway.

There are many among the NTCC leadership families who are sick, even after much prayer and Doctors.

These facts show NTCC's belief in divine healing is lip-service only…as is there be-ye-warmed-and-filled (or, as they oft put it…”We’ll be praying Brother”) Christian love.

  5. Hi Bro. and Sis Shunk.Trying to comment but not sure how to do it. I often wondered what happened to many of the NTCC members I knew years back. Now that I've found this blog, I can see that alot of them are doing well. I praise God for that. I never agreed with the mind control issues of NTCC. Thank you for starting this blog. Also, please pray for me, as I have thyroid cancer. Thanks in advance. My name is David Dyal.

  6. Good old FACTnet! That was the beginning of the end for NTCC. I've got it archived too. The Whirlwind's rants definitely need to be preserved for posterity.

  7. I cannot tell you how happy I was to find this website. Mrs. Shunk I knew you when you were Mrs. Blumenthal and I was a student at bible school. I was excommunicated for homosexuality or whatever their new policy was concerning that. A policy I was not aware of while being in the organization. Interesting that RWD states that he has never seen a homosexual saved. Anyway, I have some questions for you and am seeking a dear friend I had way back when. Any help you could provide would be helpful and appreciated. My email address is Michaelnursingstudent@yahoo.com. Thanks! Michael Padgett

  8. Hello Michael,

I remember you! I will be glad to help you. Many are finding old friends and reuniting once again. It's a shame we were told we had to choose the Org over friendships when people left the church. Glad you found me. = )

  10. Hey Tim, I remember you quite well! You were @ Tillicum church when it was a small group there. How are you? It's been nice to hear from old friends from way back in the 70's and 80's.
